Why MGA

Your games deserve one home.

You can love your launcher and still want a better place to manage the collection behind it. MGA keeps the library together without taking over how you play.

One collection, many sources

Combine supported store libraries with games you keep on Google Drive or a NAS. Find the game without remembering its storage location.

Copies that stay distinct

A store entitlement, a ROM and an installer are not the same thing. Keep source, version and availability information with the right copy.

A profile for each player

Each person has their own profile and source connections. Connect frontend plugins with that profile rather than sharing the server administrator's credentials.

Artwork worth keeping

Organize game details and media centrally. The early frontend plugins fill missing artwork rather than replacing images you already chose in your launcher.

Know what is available

Track provider offers and subscription availability. A catalog listing is not proof you own a game, and availability can change.

Your files, served to your frontend

Authorized file-backed copies can be downloaded through a compatible plugin. Your frontend handles placement, extraction, emulator setup and running the game.

Simple roles. Fewer surprises.

MGA manages the library

Profiles, sources, catalog offers, versions, metadata, media and authorized delivery. The browser is your management console, including on a phone.

Your frontend plays the games

Playnite and the LaunchBox preview keep local launch settings and emulator configuration. Store clients still handle their accounts, licensing and protected downloads.

MGA is pre-1.0. It is not a universal game installer, save-format converter, account-sharing workaround or released mobile launcher. Emulator/runtime delivery is allowed only where licensing and compliance checks permit it.
